This sugar bowl is made to compliment the ‘Resurgence’ sterling silver teapot but can equally be enjoyed individually. It is made by hammer forming the initial shape from flat sheet silver using hammering techniques that have been in use for millennia.
.
‘Resurgence’ Teapot collection is inspired by plant life, and the incredible power of nature to prevail and regenerate, to regrow, sometimes bursting through concrete and reclaiming the land. The handle is the dominant feature of this piece, particularly honouring the manner in which plants curl around themselves and grow together as a self supporting twisting structures. Examples of this can be seen in ivy vines, wisteria trees and wild honeysuckle winding around hazel.
