This collection focusses on the elements and plant life within the landscape. Following a residency with silversmith Rod Kelly in the Shetland Isles, the simple observance of heather in the remote landscape inspired the first in this series of works, the ‘Eshaness’ Vessel. Using deep relief chasing and hammer texturing to illustrate the movement of the elements and the plants within the windswept landscapes of Shetland and the peninsula of Cornwall.
