Dear Friends,
Tomorrow brings the Summer Solstice. The sun is shining and at the highest point in the sky. This is a glorious opportunity to enjoy the warmth of the sun and (hopefully) take a few moments of stillness over the next few days. The verges, here in Cornwall, seem to be at their fullest, the foxgloves are just past their best and next will follow the bright pink of fireweed (rosebay willowherb), the plant of regeneration.
