The spring equinox, a pivotal moment in the astronomical calendar, heralds the advent of spring as the Sun aligns above the celestial equator. Daylight gradually overtakes the night, guiding migratory birds and butterflies northward. Catkins dangle from trees, and plants begin anew in their growth cycle. In Cornwall, the daffodils are blooming, painting fields golden, while wild hedgerows teem with the promise of summer.
